Femke van der Vaart is a Sanadrianese athlete who competed in the second Summer Olympic Games in Querzakhi, Unified Capitalizt States. She holds citizenship of the tiny Sovereign Village by marriage, and was only recently naturalised. She speaks fluent Dutch and English (the national languages of Uhuh-Topia, where she resides most of the time), but is learning Italian.

Van der Vaart is not a professional athlete, and had never competed at such a high level until she approached the Sanadrianese Olympic Committee, offering to represent the small country on the international stage. She participated in a single event: the women's marathon. Before the Games, she stated that she did not realistically believe she can win a medal, and that her presence in Arcadia would be mostly a matter of "taking part, wearing the Sanadrianese colours, and showing... reminding the world that my country is definitely not too small to be there".

In Querzakhi, van der Vaart failed to finish the marathon, abandoning the race after 37.861 km.

More recently, she has accepted to join the Sanadrianese national football team (although not as one of the starting eleven). She will be taking part in the 38th edition of the football World Cup.

She is a tall woman with very dark black skin; she has dyed her hair light green, and wears green lipstick, giving her an extremely distinctive look. Green is one of the national colours of San Adriano.

When not running, she works as a postwoman in Uhuh-Topia.
