The First Aboriginal War is a term used for the first war against the native inhabitants of Hrydonia, a period of about 100 years from the establishment of the Empire to much later. During the war, the Hrydonian forces progressed from militia and untrained infantry to cavalry, infantry, and artillery near the end of the war; the first Hrydonian Army units date from this time, such as the 1st Imperial Rifles.
