Settled by Patoxians and a number of Confederati, Fish Island is a microcosm of Patoxian Society in the middle of The East Pacific. Strangely, there is also was also a population of a race that appeared to be female humans with fox ears and a fox tail, but an otherwise human body that called themselves 'Tsuli'.

The island is a possession of Patoxia but the island is nomonaly independent, with few restrictions placed on it's actions. Patoxia does however maintains a military facility on the island, which is said to be conducting Top-Secret research.

History

Following the a Civil War in the Americas, a group of settlers from the expedition group which later landed in Patoxia first discovered and took shelter at Fish Island. A small group decided to stay on the island and they form the bulk of Confederati on Fish Island today. In recent times many have left for other better lands.

As dawn of the modern age allowed travel to be made easier, the Patoxian Government promoted migration of ethnic Patoxians to Fish Island in order to secure it in Patoxian hands as it was felt that the island maybe of value at some point in the future.

Unbeknownst to the early Confederati, they were not alone on Fish Island. Remaining relatively hidden and unseen by there also existed a race of Foxgirl called Tsuli indigenous to the island.

However with the migration to Fish Island and subsequent development of Fish Island by the Patoxian Settlers, the native Tsuli could no longer remain hidden so a small group went into capital Quxmata, then called Fishville, and revealed themselves to the startled Patoxians. This creature befuddled the settlers, sure some had heard rumours and/or seen some of the other races that inhabited the world, some had even heard of the Nekomimi. This raised may questions about humanity, animals, senescence, and evolution. This led to the creation of the Draken Fyre Research Institute to probe these questions.

Gradually time went on and the Tsulitxi, as they came to be called in the Patoxian Tongue, assimilated into the Fish Island society and culture.

At the Draken Fyre Research Institute, the probes into understanding of the exact nature of the Tsulitxi progressed, gradually advancing the science of genetic manipulation. In particular the research of one brilliant young Confederati scientist named James Hammond would lead to a major breakthrough and the simultaneous creation of a new lifeform.

By manipulating Tsulitxi DNA and awakening latent sequences, Dr. Hammond created a creature that was more fox-like in appearance. The Tsulagyani, as the creatures came to be called, had in addition to the tails and ears, had a more fox-shaped head, eyes, facial features, and was completely covered in fur. The Tsulagyani was also slightly taller, more intelligent, athletic, and more fox-like in behaviour compared to the Tsulitxi.

The creation of the Tsulagyani opened up many questions... Was the Tsulagyani just a product of the laboratory? Were the Tsulitxi, and the Nekomimi for that matter as well, Animals evolving into a Human-like form? or Human-like creatures evolving into animal-forms? What was the course and origin of these creatures? What did it mean for Human Evolution?

Since their creation the Tsulagyani have been incorparated into Fish Island society.

Currently, Fish Island is comming out of a period of isolation and begining to take a larger role in The East Pacific under it's new Tyona (king or lord) Tawaludx Kamga.
