The Flag of Iriyan Jaya consists of three horizontal bands of blue, green, and blue, defaced by a black diagonal band from the lower hoist to the middle top, and by five stripes, white, red, brown, bright green, and yellow on the middle stripe to the left of the black stripe.

The colors all symbolize aspects of Iriyan life. The two outer blue stripes symbolize the Broad Ocean, in the middle of which Iriyan Jaya is located. The center section symbolizes Jaya Island. The five stripes at the hoist represent the Five Nations, each the traditional color of each tribe. The black band symbolizes the period of colonization by Brigolia; the stripe starts away and ends away from the central section to symbolize the outsideness of Brigolian colonial rule. The central stripe changes to a solid green, to symbolize one united nation. The central stripe continues to the end of the fly to symbolize the hope that Iriyan Jaya will never end.

The flag was designed by Andrew Sailor, a Neal of Brush Village. It was officialized in the National Symbols Act, 1971.
