The Football Authority of Del Riso (FADR) is the governing body of football in Del Riso. All football, from the Elite League of Del Risian Football right down to the Under 5 mini-football are overseen by this organisation. Leagues are organised into different Tiers and Categories. The FADR runs Cup Tournaments at all Tiers and in all Categories, but individual Clubs may host tournaments in lower-level football.

Ethnicity in FADR

Boasting large English, French, Italian, and Dutch populations, all with a proud footballing heritage, the FADR has allowed all clubs to declare a 'nationality' for their squad.

All four groups have exclusive 'ethnic' cups played out during the seasons. (See more below)

Promotion/Relegation

  • Elite League/First Tier
    • Bottom 3 automatically relegated to First Tier.
    • Top in each League automatically promoted.
    • Playoff: Fourth last in the Elite League and First Tier Runner-Ups play one-legged playoffs for final Elite League position.
  • First/Second Tiers
    • Same as above but with the following alignments:
      • League One <-> Division A B C
      • League Two <-> Division D E F
      • League Three <-> Division G H I
  • Second Tier and Below:
    • Check the League Pyramid for promotion/relegation as it changes year to year depending on league alignment.

Tiers

First Tier

3 Leagues, 24 teams each.

Second Tier

9 Divisions, 24 teams each.

Third Tier

15 Leagues/Divisions. Number of teams varies. AKA the Provincial Tier, as most groupings tend to be all of one Province/Region, but 'crossing-over' is quite common.

Fourth Tier

27 Leagues/Divisions. Number of teams varies. AKA Provincial Tier Two. 'Crossing-over' is common in these leagues also.

Fifth Tier

81 Leagues/Divisions. Number of teams varies. AKA Provincial Tier Three. 'Crossing-over' is common in these leagues also.

Local Leagues

Varying number of Leagues/Divisions at the city level for males. Varies from year to year. Several cities/towns may group together to form a league/division at this level.

Reserve League

Reserve teams from Elite, First thru Fifth Tiers, and Scholars League are enrolled in this league. It is split into divisions of 16 teams on a seeded basis.

Scholars Leagues

School teams, including all Universities, Colleges, and High Schools.

Ladies League

Women's professional football. Consists of three divisions (Division 1,2,3). Straight 3up/3down promotion/relegation between divisions. Applications for inclusion must be submitted ot join the "Upper Three". Also includes city level women's teams.

Youth Leagues

Covers all youth leagues male, female, and mixed. From U5-U19.
