At roughly 300km from east to west and 240km from north to south, Forodren Annon is a hilly, mostly forested lowland, with small rivers making their way from the high hills in the center of the land to the sea to the west and the strait in the east.

| − | Before the sale, [[Goobergunchia]] began construction of a canal to connect the two bodies of water and seperate it's self from Allanea. Afterwards, [[Bryn Shander]] finished the canal, keeping it's original name. The Horano Canal was carved through the isthmus with a width of one mile, and a depth of one hundred feet. The canal is bordered on both sides by steep cliffs, which more or less prevent crossing by any means other than the single suspension bridge at the city of Horano. Further adding to the difficulty of crossing are the heavy fortifications planted on the north side.
