The Freedomstaki Green Party is the second major left-wing party in Freedomstaki. It is Freedomstaki's Green party and is part of the Global Greens. The party general holds a variety of liberal idealogies both socially and economically.
History
The Freedomstaki Green Party was founded in 1992 by a bunch of liberal enviromentalists that decided the time was ripe for a Green party for Freedomstaki. It gained a large amounts of seats in the 1994 election, giving the party early sucess and is in coalition with Liberal Labor party along with the Gay Rights party. However, it may be relgated to foruth place in seats with the formation of the Third Way party.
Stances on issues
The party holds a general liberal view point of social ideology with a economic ideology that is for anything the benefits the enviroment. They were party that was key in pushing the legalization of cannabis in 1997.
