Freedonia Maritime Co. - Private marine company, specialized on import-export trade. It was created on Zefan on 1952, with only 2 transports.
After five years, the company decided to take the commercial branch of the marine transportation and bought 10 new containter ships. The business went well, and the possibilty to enter in the oil field was achieved on 1970 when it became the first partner of the Qafalian Oil Co.
Now it is one of the main transport company of the region.
