British Londinium

Prelude to war

The seeds of the second war between Automagfreek and British Londinium were sown after the British military and government returned to what Freekish officals called "their old ways", which included several aggressive military campaigns that the Freeks disapproved of. However war did not erupt then and there, despite the fact that the British had sworn to refrain from such hostile actions due to the surrender terms of the Londinian Genocide, the first time the two nations squared off. A military response from Automagfreek was threatened unless specific terms were met by the British government, including the disbanding of the EVIL Alliance, reparation payments to all nations who suffered British attacks, and a halt to all present and future military operations.

Since a harsher set of terms was thrown out, Londinian officials offered the Freeks an outpost within their territory so as to keep a check on any possible aggression. Thus Fort Miasma was born. The base itself was disguised as a conventional Freekish military outpost, but it held a grim secret. Every missile, rocket, and artillery shell was nuclear, and over a gigaton of stockpiled salted weapons were placed inside the underground base as a failsafe in case the base's existance was in total jeopardy.

Blockade

Growing more irritated with a Freekish presence on Londinian soil, a military blockade of Fort Miasma was ordered. Several hundred ships ranging from super dreadnoughts to support vessels took part in the exercise, and all inbound and outbound AMF shipping was placed on hold. A still list of demands were sent to the Freekish government outlining what was and was not acceptable to send into Londinian waters, which Azrael did not take kindly to. To test the new declaration, a lone submarine that was apart of a great unit transporting materials to the base attempted to run the blockade, to which the Londinians fired a warning shot at it.

Blood Feud

The commander at the base, Major Palmer, knew that the end was near, and received covert orders from the outraged Azrael to punish the Londinians for such audacity. As a result every cannon and missile tube opened fire on every conceivable target within British Londinium, turning large swaths of the country into a nuclear wasteland. The assault was also worsened by the assistance of the Freekish submarine detachment in international waters who began to fire all of their SLBM's at targets further out of reach from Miasma's missiles and guns. However an immediate British response was lacking, and thus the Freeks were able to churn out massive amounts of nuclear wrath before finally detonating the gigaton of weapons when a British counterattack was launched from the ground and orbital platforms.

The resulting explosion destroyed a good portion of the Londinian mainland either from the direct blast or the intense flow of radiation throughout the entire area. The blockading naval forces were largely destroyed when Miasma turned its guns and missiles against them, either totally obliterating the ships with nuclear fire or simply knocking them over due to the intense power of each successive blast. During the nuclear massacre, Azrael declared a state of Blood Feud with British Londinium, in short a total extermination of all their people was to take place in order to prevent them from ever becoming an issue ever again.

Evacuation

Though a military retallation never occurred, a swift evacuation effort took place. Thousands of Londinians were shipped out to a wide range of friendly colonies and nation states across the world, a notable concentration being in the Middle East. Several nations took in large amounts of Londinians, though it is unknown just how many made it where.

Several large Freekish fleets were dispatched to Victoria (Londinium proper) and to the Middle East to erradicate Londinian citizens there, though they would never get the chance. An impromptu peace conference began to bear fruit early, and Londinian officials quickly agreed to the terms laid out by Minister Hartman of Automagfreek In short, the Londinium colonies in the Middle East were to be placed under Freekish rule, and all government leaders were to be extradited to AMF to face justice.
