Freestate Grüneberg is a combined Dutch and German state in Guffingford. Grüneberg reminded many early Knootian settlers of their home in the south of Knootoss, the province Limburg. With lush green hills and sparkling and fresh water wells, this is the most naturally stunning area of Guffingford. To the south dry steppes meet the vast dry central plains and highlands, but the rest of this friendly state is green and laden with rolling hills. Saint Julien is the capital, a small city that hasn't played a significant part in Guffingford's history. The state however was (and still is) the breadbasket of Guffingford and during The Luambo Wars and both Oil Wars Grüneberg was repeaditly raided for its rich food supplies.
