Freetopia

Freetopia was founded after Totalitarianity, Sweedun and Plaga Proteus left the region Arctic for a change in leadership. Since then the region has enacted several changes to its constitution, and made a website. Freetopia today is a culturally, economically and socially proud region boasting high freedoms for member nations. The region is a constitutional democracy, advocating the right to choose for all members within a set of loose rules. Since its founding, Freetopia has maintained a modest population (often dropping below 4 nations in times of inactivity). This is generally attributed to the regions apathetic style of governing and a distinct lack of any kind of recruitment. Freetopia is allied with once-enemies Arctic with Freetopian nation Aserferiat acting as an envoy between the two, and is applying to become a member of the Glacial Empire. The region has no permanent army.

The Struggle Between Prussiatopia/Itsmineallmine & The Freetopians

After the founder nations of Freetopia were established in Arctic, tensions were high with the Arctic nation of Prussiatopia, who the Freetopians claimed held too much power within the region. After many debates and heated arguments between the politicians of both 'sides', the situation culminated in the Freetopian founders leaving the Arctic to found Freetopia in an attempt to put their more liberal political views into practice. Thus Freetopia was born;

Freetopia and the descendent nations of Prussiatopia continue to argue sporadically to this day with both parties tending to only be at peace for 1-5 NS years at a time.
