The Friendship and Mutual Aid Agreement is an mutual defence & aid organisation formed by Tavast-Carelia and Ecopoeia in response to growing aggression from Svea Riga in Aperin-Alçaera area, although officially the agreement is not aimed against any individual nation (and there are indeed several threathening nations nearer to the current members than Svea Riga). The FMAA is notable for the fact that it does not automatically require any signatory to participate in anything. Only after representatives of the signatories have discussed the possible need for action, and made a decision to take action, are member nations required to participate.

Charter

The treaty charter reads as follows:

Preamble:

We, The Socialist State of Tavast-Carelia and The Cloud-Water Community of Ecopoeia (hereafter referred to as "the signatories"), while committing ourselves to maintaining peace and friendship in the world, are painfully aware of the existence of hostile nations across the planet. In order to maintain the sovereignty of our nations even at times of war, we have opted to commit ourselves to joint defence and non-military mutual actions as outlined in this treaty.

1.2.1. Should it be decided that mutual defensive action is required, all signatories are bound to help the signatory requesting aid in defending themselves.

2. Mutual Aid
