Ganchelkean Imperial Army

The Ganchelkean Imperial Army (GIA) is the branch of the Ganchelkean Imperial Armed Forces that has primary responsibility for land-based military operations. The Ganchelkean Imperial Army is divided into the Regular Army and the National Reserve. The Regular Army is organised in three main branches: the Combat Arms, the Combat Support Arms and the Combat Service Support Arms.
The Combat Arms are organised as follows:
- Armoured Infantry
- Mechanised Infantry
- Light Infantry
- Air Assault Infantry
- Armoured Cavalry
- Light Cavalry
- Field Artillery
- Air Defence Artillery
- Strategic Missile Forces
- Rapid Deployment Forces
- Special Forces
The Combat Support Arms are organised as follows:
- Engineers Group
- Signal Group
- Reconnaissance Group
- Air Support Group
The Combat Service Support Arms are organised as follows:
- Army Communications Group
- Army Logistics Group
- Army Medical Service
- Army Movement Control Group
- Army Technical Engineers Group
- Army Training Group
