The Ganchelkean Imperial Navy (GIN) is the branch of the Ganchelkean Imperial Armed Forces responsible for conducting naval operations. It consists of a full range of vessels, from patrol boats to guided missile frigates, nuclear aircraft carriers and strategic missile submarines.

The Ganchelkean Imperial Navy is organised in nine branches:

  • Naval Surface Action Force (organised in fifteen Fleets, of which the largest is the the Ganchelkean Imperial Northern Fleet)
  • Submarine Service
  • Mine Detection and Clearing Service
  • Oceanographical Survey Service
  • Fleet Auxiliary Service
  • Navy Medical Service
  • Naval Air Service (ground and sea-based planes and helicopters)
  • Naval Fusiliers (ground forces used to secure naval installations)
  • Imperial Naval Reserve

Note: the Ganchelkean Imperial Marine Corps is not a part of the Ganchelkean Imperial Navy, but for administrative purposes falls under the Department of the Navy of the Department for National Defence.
