Brief Summarry
Catholic Kingdom of Gavleborg & the Royal Duchy of Uppsala (in Swedish, Katolike Konungariket Gävleborg amt Hertiget Uppsala) is a nation situated in eastern Gemini Exterro. A fervently Catholic nation, Gavleborg has had a turbulent history in Gemini Exterro. First settled in 1698 by Swedish immigrants escaping persecution from Scandinavia, it has remained steadfast in their Catholic convictions.
Gavelbrog-Uppsala, originally two speerate nations, however, in 1834 Duchess Ingeborg of Uppsala married the King Gustav VIII Klaus of Gavleborg, Ingeborg was the last hier to the Uppsalan duchy and her child then became heir to both the kingship of Gavleborg and the dukedom of Uppsala.
With the combined arimes of the now personal union of Gavelborg-Uppsala, King *Gustav X Karl went to war against Eriitia and won Morravia, becoming the Emperor of Morravia. The Morravian people no longer wished to be ruled by a foreign nation, first under Eriitia now under Gavleborg, the people began on open rebellion after 15 years of fighting Morravia won its independance and threw the chains of monarchy off.
Though, the Kings of Gavleborg still claim emperorship over Morravia.
However, though, a nation disliked by its neighbors Gavleborg-Uppsala has recorded Gemini-Exterro’s history in a strong since of impartiality, which is unusual for the generally biased nation.
Ruled by their King, Gustav XIII Celsete, though he is a mere puppet for his mother, the Duchess-Queen-Empress Brianna.
