Gelámmereth, the festival of Jubilee, beginning on the first day of Lairë, summer, and lasting for nine days (one Tomanian week), the Festival (mereth) is dedicated to the beginning of the warmest, happiest time of year. Also, it is the celebration to Vana, the Valie of Love & Beauty. To say the least, Mereth is dedicated to sexual relations.

Traditions of the Mereth include men wearing white silken skirts with a golden belt, women where long white silken dresses with their breasts exposed with a golden belt around their upper waist. Flowers are often exchanged by couples before they enter into sexual contact.
