Overview

As a nation and Empire spread over many territories all around the world, the geography of Falastur and the Empire is widely varied, stretching from year-round snowy hills and valleys to blazing deserts, and from areas of flat-land to towering mountain ranges. Because of the widespread nature of the lands of the Empire, there is no universal climate or landscape, and few lands share the same weather the whole year round. However, of the vast lands of the Empire, most lands have a temperate, cool climate, and mostly flat land with some hills. Many territories are home to some small mountain ranges, or parts of them, a few of the larger lands of the Empire housing larger mountain ranges, and some of the largest mountains in the world lie in Falasturian lands. Other lands of the Empire are host to many of the largest lakes on their continents.

Geography of the Unified Provinces

Due to Falastur's history, embroiled in Colonial conquest and aggressive foreign policy, the Unified Provinces today are far-flung, located in five seperate regions of the world. Of these, however, but three are of significant size, the other two being outposts of not more than 100 square miles in area, but hosting major cities which have, since their founding, been major trading and transportation hubs. The Falastur Island Group is in every way the centre of Falastur, even down to its location, a few degrees off central to the Falasturian Empire. The Island Group lies a few degrees south of the Tropic of Capricorn, and around 1,500 miles due west of the African nation, Namibia, and in total area covers around the same area as that of the British Isles (inclduing the Republic of Ireland). The largest of the five regions is the sub-continent of Crealir, an extremely large peninsula around the size of Brazil and covering over one third of the continent it resides upon, and situated largely in a temperate region at roughly the same latitude as Central Europe or the Northern half of the USA. The smaller of the three great landmasses is the administrative division of Lavella, a landmass around the size of Europe between France and Poland (inclusive), and situated at roughly 60-70 degrees latitude, making it one of the coldest Falasturian outposts in mass inhabitation.
