George Edward Palmer is a Sorthern Northlander footballer who currently plays for Corcaigh FC.

Club career

Corcaigh FC

Palmer was one of the first graduates from the Corcaigh FC academy and has always been wildly tipped as a star of the future. There is no doubt that he would have been Corcaigh's first choice keeper but the FASN had failed to get any tournaments arranged before Palmer's departure from the club.

Pernetas

During World Cup 36 qualifying it was announced that Corciagh FC had come to an agreement with Pernetas for the player to move to Pernetas during the transfer window after the World Cup for a fee of V$2,000,000. Corcaigh will also receive Júlio, who is tipped by sources in Cafundeu to be a star. This deal will make Palmer the first Sorthern Northlander to play his club football outside of Sorthern Northland while Júlio will be the first foreigner to play club football in Sorthern Northland.

International Career

Palmer was one of the players who played in Sorthern Northland's first ever game against Daehanjeiguk at the second Oxen Cup. He has since been the regular first choice goalkeeper for the side, apart from towards the end of qualifying for World Cup 36 after his was suspended for the remainder of the tournament for an on filed fight with team mate Jay-Jay Bay-Bay in the home game against Az-cz.
