George Kennan Reid was appointed as the head of Mangala's delegation to the Martian Duma upon the death of Maya Toitovna, the previous lead delegate. He served with distinction until being recalled by the Imperial Council when the Nova Mangala party gained power. Reid is considered by many to be the single most influential figure in both sections of the Mangalan Ministry of State.
