Certainly, by nature of being a major nation in the real world, Germany was one of the first user-created regions in NationStates history, along with most major European nations and the feeder regions.
Germany has had a convoluted past, mired in much controversy, much of which has recently been laid to rest. Recently Germany has been re-founded to finally remove the blight that was Der Reichsprotektor. Unfortunately, the Kaiser of the German People, HM Kaiser Wilhelm II, has been retired over a year. Accordingly, his legally-appointed ReichKanzler (Chancellor of the Empire) Imperial Central has appointed a new Kaiser in Deleted Nation.
Deleted Nation, under the persona of Kronprinz Wilhelm Archibald von Hohenzollern, re-founded Germany on December 2, 2006. Later that same day, Imperial Central passed on the KaiserKrone, and the Kronprinz became Kaiser Wilhelm III. Deleted Nation is presently the Webmaster, Root Forum ADMIN, and Cartographer for the region among other things.
