The Gnejs Green Party is the largest party in Gnejs by far. In the last election they managed to get a whopping 35% of the Gnejs voters to side with them. The party is fiercely anti-business and in election times they often campaign with slogans in the line with “Who needs financial growth when mother earth is crying?!”. Environmental issues are top priority and strict environmental regulations, such as a banning of cars are some of the most radical ideas the party’s put in front of the parliament. Besides the environment the party is concerned with social welfare, involvement in the UN, feminism, a more decentralized government, direct democracy and gay rights. Critics of the party say that the Gnejs economy is rapidly dying under their rule. But although the nation struggle with high unemployment rates and an imploded economy the government have managed to keep relatively high approval rates among the citizens. The Gnejs Green Party is currently governing The GPRG in coalition with the Socialist Party of Gnejs and the Social Libertarian Alliance. The leaders are Nicolas Winborg, a 24 year old journalist and currently Foreign Minister and Inga Karlberg, 27 years old with a master in sociology and currently the president of The Green People’s Republic of Gnejs.

The Gnejs Green Party currently holds 124 of the 394 seats in the parliament.
