A former Prince of Shessara, Gobaidd was a sadistic torturer and butcher, known for distinct homosexual and pedophiliac tendencies. He was hated by all who knew him, save his son, Heddwyn, for whom he had a kind of perverted love. Gobaidd baited an honor duel with Tarw Laeryn, thinking he could easily kill the old man and steal the territory of Crastiroedd for his own. Tarw, however, cut his right arm and leg off, and Gobaidd soon died of complications.
