Government of Audland
Audland is a secular republic in which the Federal, Divisional, and Municipal governments all have specific rights and obligations.
Federal Government
Audland's federal government is divided into the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches. Each branch has specific duties that it may perform, and no branch may perform the duties of another.
Executive Branch
The Executive branch controls day to day operations of the federal government. This includes the running of the various departments and bureaus of the government.
The Executive branch is run by the Prime Minister, who is elected every four years by a popular vote. The Prime Minister's main job is handling foreign and public relations, and he or she usually has little to do with the day-to-day operations of the government. However, the Prime Minister has the executive power to order the activities of any Executive branch office, provided his orders are within the law.
