Nation: Ariddia

Number on list: #6

The Great Mosque in the Ariddian capital city Rêvane is genarally considered the most architecturally impressive mosque in the country. It is not, however, the biggest; that honour goes to the large mosque in Cité-Belle.

Ariddia's Muslim population is estimated at about 3.1%. Arguably the two most famous Muslims in Ariddia, head of State Nuriyah Khadhim and human rights activist Jamilah Shahrour, frequent Rêvane's Great Mosque. It is the capital's centre for most Muslim cultural and religious festivals and activities.

The Great Mosque has the distinction of being listed on the World Heritage Sites & Treasures List, and is one of Ariddia's national architectural treasures.
