The body of water commonly referred to as the Gulf of Storms seperates the continents of Ratio and Fidelis in the northeast district of The Heartland region. This body of water is bounded on the north by the Nolan Sound, on the west by the continent of Ratio, on the south by the Mauvidian Sea, and on the east by the continent of Fidelis.

A number of major rivers empty into the Gulf of Storms including the Locke Harbour River which have helped to allow rich fishing grounds to develop along the Gulf of Storms on both continents that border this body of water.
