early Childhood
Jhess is the youngest daughter of Emperor Captain Spaulding I, of the Evil Conservative Empire of the Palentine. She grew up in the imperial palace, and had as a normal childhood as was possible. She was and active and atheletic child, and a bit of a tomboy. she excelled in unarmed combat, and marksmanship. Jhess was also a good student, but at the age of 18 she decided to enlist in the Palentine Military, insted of going to college.
Military Career
Jhess enlisted in the Palentine Army as a recruit. The Emperor, somewhat pleased by her determination to make her own way, gave instructions to the Chief of Staff of the Army, to be sure his daughter recieve no favors due to her relationship with the Emperor. She did well in basic training, and AIT, and finished near the top of her cadre. After a year in the service, she applied for, and was accepted into Special Forces training. She completed the training succesfully, and was assigned to the 5th Assault Combat Team "The Widowmakers". Also during her service time she took advantage of educational opportunities, and recieved a degree in International Relations. When her term of service ended she chose not to re-enlist. Insted, after her mustering out, she entered Joshi Wrestling training.
Wrestling Career
Jhess joined the Palentine Joshi Wrestling Dojo, and started intensive training. She did well and was flagged by some veteran wrestlers, and Federation officials as a future star. After training she wrestled for about a year and a half, in fome independant feds, and received a develpomental contract from the Palentine Joshi Wrestling Federation. In PJW, she started out as a masked wrestler La Tigress. Quickly she became a popular heel, know for her viciousness, and aerial ability. She entered into a year long feud with popular face, and Junior Women's champion, Cutey Sakai. The feud culminated in a hair vs mask match at the biggest PPV of the year. Both women gave their best, but Cutey Sakai prevailed in the end, and Jhess lost her match. A few weeks later, after a match, Cutey Sakai was attacked in the ring by a heel team, "The Regulators", Cowgirl Sandy and Nurse Paine. As the heels prepared to humiliate Sakai, by shaving her head, Jhess ran out with a kendo stick, and made the save. Both wresters embraced in the ring, and Jhess helped Cutey backstage. The next week, a new tag team debuted, "The Beauty Angels": Cutey Sakai, and now unmasked La Tigress. This team started out by going after revenge against "The Regulators". After a series of matches that frequently ended in 'DQs' and 'no contests', revenge was finally achieved at the Destruction PPV. The victorious tag team was poised for a run at the PJW tag Team Belts, when a new challenge arose for Jhess to meet.
Heirship
In early may, 2006, Emperor Captain Spaulding I, decided it was time to name an official heir to the empire. He wanted a heir that embodied the spirit and traditions of the Palentine. He decided to open the contest to any of his legitimate, and illegitmate children, as well as any nephews and nieces. Some of his advisors objected to allowing women to compete, and wanted the contest only open to the males. However the Emperor objected and pointed to the example of the nation's founder, the highly revered, Queen Komoniwannalaya. To prove their martial abilities, the canidates would participate in a series of elimination style Texas death-matches, culminating in a Steel Cage match with a pinfall or exit winning condition, for the heirship. Needless to say, the Emperor was both pleased and concerned over Jhessan's decision to enter the contest. Since the Palentine people love wrestling the decision was made to turn it into a PPV. Jhess, due to her Joshi background easily made it to the final match. Her opponent would be her cousin, Brunhilde Meunster, also a Joshi wrestler known as the Valkyrie. Early in the Match both women were busted wide open, and bloodied.Jhess knew she coulden't match her cousin's strength, so she planned to wear her down, buy using her own speed and agility. Finally she wore her cousin down enough, that a double arm DDT, followed by a Shooting Star Press from the top of the cage, got the 3-count. That night, the Palentine had itself a new Heir, HIH Jhessan Spaulding.
Current history
Since becoming heir, Jhess has spent time learinig about the government she one day will oversee. She has attended the meetings over a founding of an Antarctic Oasis Regional Free Trade agreement, the Celebration of the Founding of the Antarctic Oasis, and the Choosing of a new Regional Delegate. HIH Jhess and her father also had a state visit to the Palentine's oldest ally Omigodtheykilledkenny, and a personal meeting with Kennyite President Manuela Fernanda
Just recently her Father, Emperor Captain Spaulding I, has announced that within 6 months HIH will be assuming the position of Co-empress of the Palentine(thus allowing the Emperor to spend more time on the links) just recently, during the month of November,2006 Jhessan was coronated as Co-Empress of the Evil Conservative Empire of the Palentine, in a touching ceremony. After the ceremony Jhess showed her many fans that she still is in top form by elbow dropping the Kennyite UN ambassador, Sammy Faisano, after a incident, in the Ballroom of the Willy Punn Hotel.
