HIMS Titan, the fifth battleship of the Behemoth-class, is the newest ship in the Iansislean Navy which predates the Linhower Plan. Launched in 1942 as part of Iansisle's continuing post-Battle of Salvador build-up, Titan was shoved to the side to make way for HIMS Diomedes (1942), a great white elephant which was never completed. When work on Diomedes was finally abandoned, it resumed on Titan. She was taken into the Navy with a considerable amount of pomp and, after her acceptance trials, dispatched on a round-the-world tour under the command of Admiral Sir Hunter N. Kennington. Titan then served a while as the flagship on Walmington Station.
In 1952, after having been commissioned for just four years, Titan became the first Behemoth to undergo a major refit. She had been commissioned with separate anti-surface and heavy anti-air batteries; the refit combined the two purposes into single batteries, allowing for added armor in the turrets and barbettes. The bridge was also expanded and updated to allow Titan to better serve as a flagship.
After her refit, Titan has served rather unremarkably with Home Fleet.
