Before the Split
Before the Thornichi came to Thorin in approximately 4600 BF, the land was controlled by the Lugonomeks, the indigenous people of the region. Three tribes, such as the Denomeks, lived within the mountains, while five more, including the Unleimeks, Yunomeks, and Galethomeks, lived to the west of the mountains. The eight tribes lived in a loose confederation, along with the rest of the Lugonomek tribes. When the Thornichi finally did arrive, they stayed in the mountains for about 700 years, living together with the Lugonomeks and with each other.
