Hashim Al-Farik is a well educated, militarily intellectual man. Having been trained from a young age to be brutal and merciless against his enemies, Farik has become a great ally to the Soviet Union. Through both political and military connections, Farik is an individual with many ties to Party members (including Troskin and Pacitania). Yet, due to his alleged connections with terrorists and guerilla armies, Farik is considered by some to be one of the most dangerous men alive.

History

Al-Farik was born to Saad and Pola Al-Farik in Muscat, Oman a year before it was annexed by the USSR. Upon the annexation, the small family was relatively untouched due to their social status as lower-middle class. Both parents worked alternating hours in order to care for young Hashim.

Early in year, Al-Farik showed a usual distrust for authority along with a strang fascination with violence and an untamed brutallity against those he didn't like. This would be both a great curse and a great ally for the young Arab.

Upon graduating high school, Farik - as he is affectionately known - was recruited into the Red Army of the Soviet Union and then quickly drawn into the training program for the Committee for State Security. The Committee saw him as a great asset due to his unwavering loyalty to the Party and a brutal nature that was unsurpassed by anyone.

The young Farik trained amongst the most elite of the KGB in order to meet the high standards the Party put before him. Eventually passing the Advanced Military Training and Advanced Revolutionary Training schools. He excelled in counter-terrorism operations as well as intelligence missions.

Upon the formation of the Revolutionary Armed Forces Abroad, Farik was reassigned as a Colonel in the RAFA in order to help train and run missions against those deemed to be enemies of the Soviet Union.

After the Soviet Reformation, he continued in politics and became a member of the Peaceful Cooperative of Laurasia.

International Spokesman

Upon completing his assigned duties in the Revolutionary Armed Forces Abroad, Farik was placed as the International Spokesman of the forces in order to help recruit members around the world. Farik continues to be active in actual missions and is said to hold jurisdiction over several internment facilities across the Soviet Union.

Terrorism

Due to Farik's close relation with the RAFA and their mostly illegal activity around the world, Farik has been a suspect of many terrorist incidents and plots. The following is a short list of his suspected attacks:

  • Madrid train bombings: Believed to have helped train the Basque sepratists.
  • Japanese hostage crisis: Believed to have been behind the planned hostage taking.
  • Train bombing in Persepolis, Parthia: Using plastique explosives to detonate a train that Shah Khosru III was to have been riding in.
  • Accidental anti-aircraft artillery firing: Anti-aircraft artillery shot down a Roach-Busterian airliner over the Mediterranean Sea.
  • Attempted assassination of Sergei Illyanov: Originally thought to be fascist sympathizers, some now think another - revolutionary - organization attemped to have the Dufourist assassinated.

Many of these are rumors, but some of them have been investigated. Nothing more than circumstantial evidence has ever been found, and Farik has never been charged with any of the terrorist attacks.
