Like all nations, there is laws that are made, laws that have amendments, and laws that are repealed. This section here contains all laws from the nation of Havvy. Many of the laws that were made were repealed when Jerry Sophrone took over the country in a coup of the president.

Nicholas Jurkin

Deleani Protection Act of H.42

Reason For Act: This repealed bill was created to stop the CutYouDown Inc. logging company from destroying the massive ecosystem in the region. Nicholas, just like the other dictator of Havvy, was in love with the nature. He often took many visits to the island, and the threat of it being cut down made him issue this bill.

"As of May 14, H.42, anybody who cuts down more than seven trees on the isle of Deleani without filing a permit that explicitly states they won't cut down trees for profit on the isle of Deleali shall be henceforth persecuted for trying to destroy one of the Havian national wonders.

Each Permit must be signed giving an agreement that they will not sell the trees, but rather let them decompose. The permit must have their name, company they work for, Social Security Number, and the date that the permit expires.

Each permit expires every 2 years, and must be replaced accordingly. Every 4 years, the looks of the permit will change to stop people from making counterfeit permits, and anybody in violation of these laws will have to pay the government back three times the money they or whoever the person they sold it to made and spend two years in jail.

Effects: In it's life of 28 years, this bill stopped many companies from exploiting the rain forests on Deleanti. A proposal to amend the bill was shot down adding burning to the the law. The law was officially repealed five days after Jerry Sophrone came into office.

==Jerry Sophrone

Jerry Sophrone is Havvy's second Dictator, and is currently in office. In his short 2 months in office, he has made 2 laws, of which, one of them is hidden.

City Travel Act of H.71

Reason For Bill: This bill was passed when he got into office because of an accident Jerry Sophrone had as a child. It was also to make car emissions lower, and have people walk more, which would improve the environment.

Text of Bill: Any street that is more than two lanes wide on each side and has many pedestrians crammed on the sidewalk between the hours of 5 a.m. to 6 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m, and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m shall be henceforth closed to all large sized vehicles and vehicles without stability control.

A police officer will be placed at each end of the street along with another one patrolling the sidewalk.

A median will be built in the center, and the lane next to each sidewalk shall be taken out and replaced with brick minus the area for each median. Also, at every 200 meters between stoplights there shall be another stoplight that only pedestrians can turn red so that they can cross the street. There shall also be a crosswalk there.

Effects: Women don't wear heels when going to work, and instead carry them in there purse, truck sales and Hummer sales dropped 20%, and people have started walking to their jobs. A massive rebuilding of streets happened in Havvy, and people like the new streets they pass by. Small Crimes in big cities has dropped 40%, but people are afraid to cross the street half the time. Drivers are mad at the shortening of the streets.
