Helç I is considered to be the beginning of the dark period of the early Empire. Helç was more concerned with expanding his palace in Loçñalkyo than conquering territory or solidifying Imperial control over areas, leading to a vastly decreased Empire. At one point in his reign, even the city of Lebrkyo was captured by the Rorçn. This was taken back. But the damage was done, and in 132 he was stabbed from behind.
