Herat, the capital of Western Afghanistan, is a massive city that, spreading over various suburbs, has a population of over 50 million. The city possesses essentially all of the cultural heritage of Western Afghanistan, all eight Afghan Premier League sides, and four of the nations seven electoral districts.
