Hoogspits is the highest mountain of Neeutegeen. Its peak ranges 759 metres high above sea level. It is a very popular aim of many trips, especially ski trips and hiking trips. To raise the monumentality and height of Hoogspits, was built a view-tower at the peak - Rontziegtoewer Hoogspits. It is 277 metres tall with a glassed-in outlook floors and a café in the top floor.
