The current ruling family of Edenburg is that of the Renoirs. His Majesty King Edward is a direct descendant of Peter I the King of Edenburg from 1756-1799. Peter was the 2nd son of King Richard of Roxembourg a former Kingdom that is now part of Tyraelus, and of Queen Isabel. Isabel was the daughter of King Alexander of Edenburg. So Edward can also trace his ancestry back to Mathilde the Lilly. The very first ruler of a united Edenburg.
