House of Vís

The House of Vís is the ruling House of the Kingdom of Noroharn and, and the Patriarch also holds the title of High King of Little India and Holy Empire of the Peoples of the East.

Beginnings

The House of Vís began with Vandanwé, whose parentage is unknown. It has been speculated that Vandanwé is the Supreme Being, being called "God" by Christians, "Allah" by Muslims, "Brahma" by Hindus, etc. This speculation holds some element of truth. In 666,666 BI (Before Independence, with regards to Little Indian Independence), the count of years began. It is at this point that the world is meant to have been created. Different religions have different beliefs as to the creation of the world, but Vandanwé is said to have created all the world in a perfect sphere, with an immense and perfectly circular island in the centre of the largest - notably also perfectly circular - ocean, the Tastrana.
