Howie T. Katzman, a Mikitivity diplomat, served as the 2nd head of the Mikitivity Office of International Affairs and United Nations Ambassador, taking over after Maik Meyers retired.
He was appointed to the Office of International Affairs by the Council of Mayors on April 4, 2005, after having served as the Mikitivity Ambassador to Ecopoeia (2004-2005). Prior to his assignment to Ecopoeia, Katzman worked in the Office of International Affairs on numerous special assignments.

Education
Awared a B.A. from Miervatia University with honors in Political Science in 1980, Katzman completed his Masters in Keeslandia and his Doctorate in Grosseschnauzer in International Law and Government. He is known to be fluent in English and German.
UN Activities
Howie T. Katzman first major activity in the United Nations was when the Office of International Affairs worked with the United Nations Association Mikitivity to conduct surveys on the level of support for various classifications of UN resolutions. Katzman's first major political campaign involved campaigning for and defending the Mitigation of Large Reservoirs resolution. In 2006 Katzman headed an international effort to promote the concept of the freedom of assembly and association in UN nations which resulted in the adoption of the Freedom of Assembly resolution.
