Summary

The Evil Empire of Hun Land is a massive, militaristic nation, whose citizens are intentionally kept uneducated in all but the ways of war by the elite ruling class, which is made entirely of the family of The Glorious Leader, Attila IX. Through it's troubled history, The Evil Empire of Hun Land has become one of the most feared nations in all of NationStates, due to its sheer brutality in war and the fact that nearly all of its 3.676 billion people are in the military. Like the Spartans of Ancient Greece, Hun Land requires all children to move to military barracks at the age of seven. Unlike Sparta, however, they are required to be in the military until they reach the age of 45. Their training lasts until they are 18 years old. The training programs in Hun Land make even ancient Sparta's training programs look simple. They train from sun rise until midnight, with only enough food to keep them alive. Water is considered a treat. When they leave training at the age of 18, each soldier is capable of tearing apart a building made of concrete in less than an hour with nothing but his own arms and legs. This is due to the huge leaps and bounds made by the top secret military research center, which developed genetically superior soldiers about five years ago.

History

The history of Hun Land can be traced back nearly 2,500 years to the period of the first king of Hun Land. He was a simple man, and as such did not develop the the military the way future leaders, such as Attila I, would. By the 400s AD, Hun Land was ripe for conquest. The military was not the largest in the region at the time, but it fought ferociously, and forced many enemies to surrender before the battle began. By taking over many smaller nations, Hun Land quickly grew into a regional super power, and saw its first population spike. By the time Attila I's reign was over, the population of Hun Land had gone from a mere 200,000 to nearly 1 million. The culture of Hun Land had been started. In the next 1000 years, the population grew to a much larger 5 million. The Hunnic kings would take the name Attila only if they defeated an enemy whose military and population were larger than their own. Seven such kings were crowned in those 1000 years. Upon Attila VIII's death, his only son was only 10 years old. The young boy quickly moved to ensure that no one else would attempt to seize the throne. With the population a small 5 million, and with the rest of the region having much larger populations of over 1 billion, the young king quickly sought out the weakest of his nearly 300 neighbors and brought the wrath of the Hunnic military upon them. Making no allegiances, the Huns were soon faced by an eight nation alliance. These eight nations, each with a population larger than that of Hun Land (which by this time had grown to nearly 10 million), attacked in unison. Little did they know that the Huns were expecting them, and in fact had not only infiltrated each nation's military, but also their governments. After just three days of combat, the king of Hun Land personally fired the high explosive artillery rounds that burned each nation's capital city to the ground. He was then proclaimed King Attila IX at the age of 16. Through the next five years, the population would again explode to over 1 billion citizens, finally giving Hun Land the population needed for such a militaristic nation. Attila IX earned a reputation as an excellent military tactician, and went after even larger prey. He attacked the most powerful nation in the region, Germanic Dogs. The fighting was extremely fierce, but thanks to the Hunnic military research facility, the Hunnic soldiers were genetically superior, capable of tearing down building with nothing but their own sheer strength. After seeing this first hand, the king of Germanic Dogs wrote: "There is nothing that we can do to stop these monsters. They pound their fists into a solid concrete wall and punch all the way through. Their kicks can tear a building's support columns in half, and when using firearms their aim is deadly, even from great distances. Their weapons are second to none, and the soldiers seem mechanical in their movements and actions. They are simply unstoppable, and we must surrender before there is nothing left of this nation to protect." Nearly doubling their population yet again, the Huns moved quickly into new territories. They also began massive production of nuclear weapons and futuristic weaponry, including a large, non-radioactive bomb with nearly the same effect as a first generation uranium nuclear device. Thanks to virtually unlimited funding, the Hunnic military also raised an elite air force, flown not by man but instead by automated computer controls. This gave them a strong advantage in the coming years as they faced smaller, yet more advanced armies. It is said that in the five day war with Invincible War Machines, not a single Hunnic soldier was lost.

Agreement with the DEN Base

After having built up such an empire, Attila IX decided it was time to stop the warfare and raise the population for several generations, until such a time when there would be more soldiers in Hun Land than citizens in other nations. The Hunnic army has not attacked anyone in nearly 2 years. Attila decided that he would still like the excitement of battle to be with him, even if it was not actual warfare. He was invited by the highly respected Attitude 910 to join The DEN Base, a large military region that existed solely to raid other regions and take whatever they could before leaving. Attila loved this new game, and quickly moved his way up in their ranks. Today he is a Major in their military. His neighbors in the DEN Base, as evident on the map of the nation, include Belgium Fighters, Of Crazed, and Meridianland.
