Early Life
Hwang Lian-sher was born into a middle class family. His father way a physician and his mother remained at home to care for the children. Lian-sher was the youngest of the youngest of three children, his older sister Hwang Fengxia, and his younger brother Hwang Zemin. His father was a caring man but because of the poor healthcare system at the time in Zhongnanhai he was always working and had little time for Lance or the family. Since the family was well off they shared a major economical burden and lived off rice and had a few variety of foods. When Lance was 5 to what he says "distract himself" from hunger he took up the violin. Hwang Lian-sher would be a hard working student, but his teachers tended to dislike him. He continued to question authority and lessons that he claimed were opinionated by government dogma. With perfect scores Hwang left for Zhongnanhai's capital, Nanjing (The capital was moved to Qingdao after the revolution) to study at the nations most famous university. There he met an underground group who had a collection of Communist righting which Lance took great interest in. His problem was balancing his new found hobby and his education which he had just barely enough to pay for. To feed himself he played his violin on the streets for a few Yuan, enough to buy supplies and food. After his graduation at the age of 21 Hwang applied with his college friends and became members of the Zhongnanhai People's Party. His father and mother would leave the country when Hwang publically declared himself a Communist and his brother and sister would stay to help their sibling. Hwang Zemin would be caught a killed during a Hwang family entrance into the Civil war and Fengxia would eventually find a quiet life in Zhongnanhai's countryside.
Political Ideas
Hwang Lian-sher was motivated by his want to help the poor citizens. He felt that no one deserved to have to go through the financial troubles his family suffered from. Hwang took the ideas of Karl Marx and changed them to fit the needs of Zhongnanhai and the rapidly changing world that used machinery to do a lot of its labor and where capitalism was rampant.
War and Revolution
Hwang left the capital and headed to South Western Zhongnanhai (Betterly known as West Zhongnanhai) after he escaped arrest from a protest he sparked back in Nanjing. He and a few followers (sources counted not much more than 100) set up a small base camp in the Tian Shan mountains there Hwand would meet the old revolutionary leader Zheng Feng who was all ready growing ill from poor living conditions and continuous movement.
Out of no where Lance would take control of most of the faction. Many believed that the youthful man was unable to lead a revolution. However, 3 months before Feng would die Hwang became a member of the Politburo and later take comeplete control over the People's Party. When Zheng Feng died Hwang was left in a power struggle between his only other rival a foreigner, named Alexander Clark. In response Lance sent Clark to attack what seemed to be an easy battle however he personally knew that the Nationalist had the area well fortified. Clark was killed during the battle and Lance took complete control of the politburo and filled its ranks with his own followers.
Taking Control
After the brutal civil war the Communists emerged as the victors over the conservative nationalist government. With this Lance now shaping one of the worlds largest nations the way he sees fit. His ruling is viewed to be open minded as he is fighting to bring civil rights back to Zhongnanhai. The economy is booming with the introduction of SEZ (Special Economic Zones). Politically the communist party controls all aspects of life. The only people who vote are the members of the ZPP and there is only 1 legal political party. 3 other smaller parties exist it has been proven that they are all controlled by the ZPP.
