IJsselmeer

IJsselmeer is a city in Bedistan's Deep South. It is located in south central Uropia province very close to the Bettian border (map).

IJsselmeer was originally a Lontorican city in the political division of Zeeland-Heerlen. When Lontorica ceased to exist in 2066, Zeeland-Heerlen and neighboring South Heerlen were absorbed by Bedistan and consolidated into the state of Südlontorika. When Bedistan moved to Atlantian Oceania in 2070, the new IJsselmeer was placed in Uropia province.

Culture

IJsselmeer has one professional football team: AFC IJsselmeer, which plays in the Bedistan Football League and competes for the Bedistani Cup.
