Dr. Ian Finley Woshkal (*March 1, 1950) is the current President of the Republic of Saidercray and leader of the Party for Peace and Justice.

Private life

Woshkal was born to a policeman and an air traffic controller in Hampmouth on Sea on March the 1st, 1950. After his upper conclusion in 1968, he went to the Sea University of Hampmouth where he studied political science and psychology. At the university, he also got to know Angela Dyer whom he married in 1975. The couple has two children, Constantine Woshkal (*1979) and Philippa Woshkal (*1982). Woshkal is also grand-father of Nicole Woshkal (*2006). From 1978 until 1987, Woshkal worked as psychologist. In 1983, he published a praiseworthy book about dissociative identity disorder which is seen as the peak of his work as psychologist. When his political career ends in summer 2007, Woshkal won't continue his work as psychologist. Instead, he has announced to work for health organisations supporting the development of third world countries. Woshkal is an enthusiastic pianist and cook. Besides, he can sometimes be seen in a football stadium watching a match of his favourite club, the Hampmouth Breakwaters. Woshkal lives with his family in Hampmouth, but spends most of his time in Amshlay, the capital.

Political life

Woshkal joined the PPJ in 1970. From 1978 to 1981, he was chairman of the party's youth organization Young People for Peace and Justice (YPPJ). In 1982, he was elected into the Provincial Parliament of Coastland. From 1987 to 1994, he was member of Coastland's government as Provincial Minister of Education and Families (1987-1989), as Provincial Minister of Domestic Affairs (1990-1992) and as Provinical Vice President (1993-1994). In Coastland's Provinical Presidential Election of 1995, he was defeated by Harry Gregorson of the Virtuous Conservative Alliance, but succeeded to him as Provinvial President in 1997. He remained into this office for the maximum time of three years. From 2000 to 2003, he was National Minister of Education and Families. In 2004, 2005 and 2006, he was elected as President of Saidercray.
