Imperial Court of the Holy im-Bashi

At the Imperial Court of the Holy im-Bashi, Quenya is the only acceptable language allowed spoken. Though, any non-Tomar visiting the Court may speak in his own tongue, it is looked higher and more respected if he speaks before the Empress in Quenya. The court meets in the Imperial Throne room at least once a month to discuss imperial dogmatic laws.

Addressing the Empress

When one stands before the empress they should first bow low and giver her praise. You are not allowed to stand up again until the empress grants you permission. It is forbidden to look into the eyes of the sovereign or state her name. Also, you can not stand on a higher plane than the throne. When first meeting her the proper titles would include, but not limited to, Your Imperial and Most Holy Majesty, Your Imperial Majesty, My Divine Sovereign, Your Holy Majesty, Daughter of Heaven, Immaculate Iluvitariel, Little Holy Mother, or Supreme Autocrat and Empress of all the Tomanias.

Because it is forbidden to state the name of the Emperor one would instead say "Menelion" or for the Empress, "Meneliel".

When leaving the court one should bow to the empress and walk out of the room backwards while continuously bowing.

Addressing Imperial Court Officials

When adressing a member of the Imperial Dynasty one should say Your Imperial Highness , Your Holy Highness , or Your Highness .

Addressing the Supreme Cordon

When addressing the Cordon, one should say, Your Excellency , Your Lordship , or Your Grace .
