The Imperial Cravanian Air Force is among the more heavily funded branches of the Imperial Military, and is tasked with providing air superiority to Cravan and her allies' troops on the ground and in the seas. The Cravanian Air Force primarily employs aircraft from Aequatio and Illior.

History

Founded in 1912 as its own branch, the Imperial Cravanian Air Force has always been on the cutting edge of technology. A key asset of the Imperial war machine, Cravan's Air Force has progressed throughout the years to become the formidable fighting force it is now.

In 1939, the first sub-branch of the ICAF was created, the Imperial Cravanian Naval Air Force. The ICNAF was tasked to operate carrier based fighters independently from the Cravanian Imperial Navy. Since this time, all aircraft run from aircraft carriers have been under the direct command of the Imperial Air Force.

In the 1970's, the Air Force reached its peak, fielding some of the most advanced aircraft of the Golden Triangle's nations at the time. During this time, the Air Force began to look into space warfare as a key new asset, which was the beginning of the Imperial Space Command. Imperial Space Command, at the moment, controls all intelligence satellites jointly with the Imperial Department of Intelligence, and controls all combat satellites including kill-sats, godrod launchers, ICBM-carrying satellites, and the orbital stage of Project Divine Shield.
