Imperial Security Bureau

The Imperial Security Bureau, also known as ISB is a key intelligence gathering agency within Nojika and operates under COMPNOE and Emperor Brakiss. The ISB is larger than and often the rival to the Imperial Intelligence agency.

In addition to operating as a standard intelligence gathering agency, the ISB is a part of COMPNOE and charged with maintaing morale and loyalty amongst the members of the Imperial Military. One known tactic used by the ISB to gather information about possible treasonous activities is to station moles among the officers of the Imperial Navy -- and it is their duty to report their findings and execute crew members that act upon anything considered to be treason.

Respectively, the head of the ISB is the Emperor's close friend, Grand Vizier Baskar
