Background Ineedsleep was founded in May 2004, by a group of refugees seeking a better nights sleep. For a while they just dozed in their new land, but soon discovered the fun of interacting with their neighbouring nations.
Climate: Long cold winters. The harbour freezes over and everybody hibernates.
Terrain: A mountainous region with a narrow strip of fertile coastline with dense forests.

Economy: It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of the Environment, Education, and Social Welfare. The average income tax rate is 100%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.
The Ineedsleep Lemon Enforcement Agency has launched a campaign against growing, manufacturing, or trafficking of the illicit lemonade, or its primaries - lemons and sugar. Border controls have be tightened.
Currency: The biscuit - the only currency to solve all problems of inflation and hoarding by being both eatable and perishable.
Disputes international: Ineedsleep has tried to maintain neutrality in the increasingly unstable SouthEast section of the West Pacific. It has close ties with it's neighbours Minineenee and ZetaOne, but also long-standing support for the Gosstoepian Empire.
