Jack Lee is, in addition to being a familiar figure in Guffingford's daily life, a prominent politician and fundraiser for many charities and one of the founders of Guffingford Against Cancer (GAC). Jack Lee also takes the seat of chairman of the Liberale Party, the only "liberal party" of Guffingford. He is also a well-known character in the Guffingfordian underground, a key in international money laundering, embezzlement and other fraudulent schemes.
Born in a small town 90 miles east of Redmound, called Grysfontein he was raised the first six years of his childhood like any normal kid, and was named after an already known criminal of that time, Jack Napier. Roger Lee, Jack's dad was a close friend of Gerard Fishkill, another shady figure still living in Guffingford. Old Roger Lee was eventually killed in a rip deal by Fishkill, and soon after his widow Eva Lee was killed as well since she threatened Gerard Fishkill of going to press to tell her story and demand a more thorough investigation from the City Watch. The night before she was going to the newspaper tycoon Hoogenbosch Berig, she was killed by hitmen sent out by Fishkill. And so little Jack Lee was sent to an orphanage when two years later a friendly uncle and aunt decided to take care of the little boy. There he was raised like everybody should be teached, he was being taught morals, wrong and right. He went to school, high school and onwards to the university, and in his mid twenties, that is quite an accomplishment in Guffingford. But all was not what it seemed, and many frustrations were brewing beneath the surface.
Jack Lee always suffered from his apperances. While being young and full of life, he is plagued with a skin that makes him look like someone in his late 40's. This has been the cause of several depressions, and frustrations about handsome people getting excellent jobs much faster. This was also the main reason why Jack Lee has never been accepted into the junior ranks Eigen Volksparty as junior PR and marketing representative: his looks weren't suited to be on national television weekly. Jack couldn't live with this rejection, and from there he grew from a good student into a very apt criminal, starting with dealing pot and smack on the campus, to beating up teachers for cash. Eventually he was expelled and charged for attempted murder, when he threatened one of his fellow students with a pistol. When he was arrested he escaped miracously into the wilderniss around Redmound. From there he started building a criminal and political career.
When Jack Lee returned to the national stage, he was redeemed, finished his education and was a rich young man with a bright future ahead of him. He never abandoned the path of quick wealth through drugs deals, smuggling and being a hitman once in a while.
