James Wolfe University(abbreviated JWU) is the largest university in the Aubrey Federal City. It is widely noted for amongst other things, it's faculties of Medicine and History, as well as it's diverse student body and top notch athletics. It is privately owned and operates for profit, meaning it has a natural rivalry with crosstown Aubrey University, which is publicly owned.

Tuition fees at the university are the highest in the country and with on-campus living mandatory for the first two years, a four year degree easily tops 400,000 Gropeks, which means the few scholarships available are highly competitive.

Athletics are a large part of the university experience, as well as life in Aubrey, with the University owning it's own 42,000 seat stadium, sponsored by local pizza chain Brickhouse Pizza. As well, the university owns a 19,000 seat baseball stadium and 18,750 seat indoor arena. The school's American Football team won the 2007 season, after a dominant 4-1 regular season, by defeating Anadahl State 14-9 in the Quarterfinals, Marcy L'Etoile 17-10 and blanking Southern San Andreas 17-0 in front of over 100,000 hostile fans. They also won the national Basketball title over the University of Coocoobad 76-60 at home in Aubrey. The school's Baseball team is also contending for the national crown.

The University is criticized heavily for supposedly promoting elitism, as well as having too few scholarships. Supporters counter that Aubrey's public university is just as elitist and that as a private, for-profit university, JWU does not have the same obligations.
