Jazarai Way is the home of Progressan musical theatre. It consists of 35 theatres, all with a capacity in excess of 1,000, almost side-by-side on a former road running parallel to the shoreline of Lake Quar in Quarua. With cars long since banned in Kaze Progressa, Jazarai Way (and other major avenues in Progressan cities) are very open and spacious and much street entertainment can be found here even before the show.

While several of the theatres here are dedicated to shows from the 'real world', and others to shows from other nations, most shows are from the Progressan musical theatre tradition that has now become long-established. The Cylinder Theatre, a cylindrical-shaped building on the site of a former roundabout halfway along Jazarai Way, is dedicated to new productions typically from youth groups; other Jazarai Way theatres also feature new productions regularly. Indeed, it is rare for any production to continue beyond 500 performances in a single run, though sometimes performances are switched across theatres (a process that usually takes place every six weeks). Partly this is due to the sheer number of shows produced, as well as the diversity of productions around the country.
