Jester (character)

Jestro redirects here since the retcon of the character's biography when responsibility of SAGA-6 was transfered to the nation of Wizard Coast.

One of the four generals that serve under Lucil Leclerc Beaumonde, ruler of the Holy Alliance. Unlike the other three, Jester occupies the rank of Marshal. This puts him higher in the military hierarchy than the other three, and he's second only to Beaumonde himself. Like his name suggests, his appearance is that of a Jester, but this should not draw attention away from his formidable fighting skills. When Jester finds out that he is actually an Homunculus created by the Black Mage Order's famous alchemist Alexej Septimus"<ref name="flawed_process">Septimus: "Septimus: Hmmm... looks like there were some flaws in your creation process." / Seiken: "What are you talikng, old man?!" / Septimus: "Shut up! The process was flawed, as are you! Let me think how to fix that."(SAGA-6)</ref>, he turns mad and attempts to use Transentias technology to enter Omega Point, the world behind Rift Omega, vowing to become a God Of Omega, as the Transentians did before. He succeeds in projecting Omega into our time, but fails to become a Creator. Instead, the world of SAGA-6 is turned into a twisted and perverted hell, junks and pieces of it reassembled in a huge megastructure called Toybox Castle, which floats through space, carried on the back of the giant being Omega. Jester, who rules his creation like a mad god, is finally killed by Luna of Luna and her companions. By the Grace Of Omega, the world is restored to it's old order.

After the transferation of the story to Wizard Coast, Jester is retconned to be what finaly becomes of Seiken Muro Chere.

OOC Information

His design has propably been influenced by Kefka Palazzo. In reference to his personality, he might also have been influenced by the earlier design of Number 13: Both are totally crazy and wish to become gods. However, some differences should be taken into account when comapring the designs: Jester sports a more "evil" kind of madness than Number 13, who's really suffering from mental problems like depression and drug addiction. Then again, Number 13 thinks himself to be a god, but really, he's just a telepath that is without any telepathic force that could match his, while Jestro does not think himself to be a god, but seizes the opportunity to become one when offered, and really reaches a stage that is in power identical with omnipotency - at least over the world of SAGA-6.
