John Arthur Garrison Born in the Southern JRVian State of Gloria, Garrison is the son of wealthy businessman and former Gloria governor Arthur Garrison and his wife Maree.
At 17 John Garrison enlisted in the Republican National Guard and served for a total seven years, before attending the prestigious University of JRV in Victoria City where he graduated with first class honors in law. At the age of 28 Garrison stood for the Gloria-Clancy seat in the Federal Parliamentary Elections and won by a large majority. During his first term of 6 years, Garrison was recognized for his excellence as a politician and served several times in positions of importance. After being re-elected for a third time, Garrison was promoted to Minister of Interior and placed on the National Chancellery. When Vice Chancellor Bob Clark died of a heart attack three years later, Garrison was called up on to replace him. Chancellor Don Brash retired not long afterwards and John Garrison was popularly appointed to take control.
He has been noted for his social liberal values and love of freedom. Currently the most popular Chancellor in JRVian history, with both the parliament and the people.
Shortly after completeing his second term in Federal Parliament Garrison married Sophia Banks, a former Miss JRV, whom he had been romantically involved with for two years. He is a devoted husband who loves his wife dearly. They are the current residents of Government House in Victoria and own a luxury holiday home in Gloria, their shared home state.
