Biography

John Piazza was born in Tyrador and studied law at Princeton. He was elected as a city councilman in his hometown of Hoboken at the age of 24 and he soon climbed the political ladder, making the national senate by the age of 37. He moved to Scottsdale Arizona about 5 months before the Phoenix Militan war of Independence and actually became involved with TPM dissidents before they rebelled against Tyrador. Piazza had a hand in drafting the first constitution, setting up the government and helping it mature into its current form. He was elected as Leader of the Senate some time before Seville the first was killed, but Piazza is still one of the most trusted officials and is consulted by Seville II in most internal matters. Despite being one of the few relics from the previous administration he is well trusted by most members of the new government. Since Piazza has had experience at almost every level of government he is very well respected. Even though he holds the highest possible popularly elected position in TPM's government, he still maintains his private law practice, since all elected positions are not salaried, and elected officials only receive access to a meager expense account.
